Gensler Designed Products to Debut at Neocon

The Tuohy WorkStyles furniture line

This week, Gensler’s Product Design practice debuted several new products at the NeoCon commercials interior show.

And we are very pleased to announce that one of those products, the Tuohy WorkStyles furniture line which was designed in conjunction with the Tuohy Furniture Corporation, won five awards including Best of Competition.

The Tuohy WorkStyles furniture line (pictured above) is designed to solve a problem our practitioners have identified through their project work on office interiors: How can you utilize the space within a private office for more than just focus work?

With overall space within commercial interiors at a premium, private offices must become more adaptable. They must be capable of supporting virtual and face to face collaboration in addition to individual work. The Tuohy WorkStyles furniture line, which was designed by Gensler designers from four of our offices and members of Tuohy’s design team, is an adaptable case good system that can support collaboration between team members and individual focus work. Created with an understanding of the fluid dynamics of contemporary work culture, the system allows users to easily switch from group problem solving to individual work.

The Stylex NYC sectional

Gensler also debuted the Stylex NYC sectional, an accommodating piece of furniture well-suited to flexible professional settings. What differentiates th Stylex from competing sectionals is that it can be slightly modified for either a relaxed setting, like an office lounge area or casual meeting room, or a formal meeting space. The ability to tailor the piece to each buyer’s specifications syncs up with the heightened flexibility intrinsic to contemporary work culture.

I love a lot of blogs, especially those that have interesting facts. That is the reason I like your post so much. It is beyond comparable to other blog forums. Hope you write more like this. With the antman movie releasing soon, get his ultimately stylish casual outfit before anyone.
